Outside, raindrops drummed against the window panes, while he was rummaging through his toys. Nothing could capture his attention. “Maybe I’ll find something exciting in the basement”, thought Jaro and made his way down. The basement was a dark place, full of old boxes, forgotten furniture and dusty memories. Jaro liked the basement, because he often discovered things there, that nobody paid any attention to. This time he remembered an old, heavy cabinet on, who stood at the back wall. It was tall and made of dark wood, with carvings, that looked like mysterious symbols. Curious, Jaro approached. “What could be behind this?“ he asked himself. With both hands he braced himself against the cupboard and pushed it aside bit by bit. Suddenly he stopped and opened his eyes: Behind the cupboard a small wooden door appeared, that he had never seen before. She was so old, that the paint was peeling off, and in the middle was a strangely curved keyhole. Jaro did not hesitate and pulled on the rusty door handle. With a quiet squeak the door swung open, and behind it was a stone staircase, which led steeply downwards. A weak, bluish light flickered from the darkness. “It looks like something out of a science fiction movie”, thought Jaro and carefully climbed down the steps. At the end of the stairs he found himself in an underground room. Futuristic devices and glowing screens were on the walls, that displayed information in an unknown language. In the middle of the room stood a large, metallic platform with a circle of symbols, which pulsatingly lit up. Jaro stepped closer and discovered an old, dusty notepad on a desk. Curiously, he leafed through the pages and found handwriting
