I am Oxossi King of the woods and lord of the hunt I am an African deity present in the religions of matrix , like Candomblé and Umbanda. I am known as the orisha of the woods, of hunting and abundance.
My story goes back to the traditions and legends of the Yoruba people, in what is now Nigeria. I am considered one of the sons of Yemanja and brother of Ogum, Exu, Xangô and Oxum.

Nasci na floresta sagrada, desde pequeno, I have exceptional hunting skills. I have a great connection to nature and animals, I am considered an expert hunter. My arrow is infallible and always hits the desired target.

No Brasil, I was taken by enslaved Africans during the period of colonization. Aqui, I ended up merging with the local culture and became one of the main deities worshipped in Afro-Brazilian religions.
