As an aspiring sculptor, I toiled in my workshop hoping to create a magnum opus. For inspiration, I studied the intricate tapestries depicting mythical adventures. One image of a pig-nosed creature in a tiny canoe particularly intrigued me. Taking chisel in hand, I began sculpting a bust of this curious beast with flattened snout, wrinkled brow, and floppy ears. The pug-like figure slowly emerged from the marble before me. When the sculpture was complete in every fine detail, I felt a strange affinity with this creature I had envisioned from nothing but thread. As moonlight glinted off his obsidian form, I fancied his stony eyes blinked with hints of life within. My pug dug his way from imaginary quests in a woven land to three-dimensional reality in my hands.
