An old man lived in a village. He was very wise and kind hearted. Villagers would come to him with their problems and he would give advice to solve them. One day a young man came to the village and met the old man. He said to the elder, "I heard that you know the solution to every problem. Can you tell me what is the purpose of life?"

The old man smiled and said, "Son, life is a journey, and the purpose of the journey is what we set for it. Some people run after wealth, some after fame, and some after love. But the real purpose is how we improve our lives and make it easier for others."

The young man said thoughtfully, "So what should I do?"
