The moonlight’s blue rays peaked out of Character 1’s curtains, illuminating her twin-sized bed. Her body went limp as she drifted deeper into sleep. She felt a weight in her chest, slowly sinking into her thick blankets and drowning in darkness. The air filled with a deathly chill, and her breaths became shortener. She forced herself to wake up, but her body was paralyzed. Her stomach clenched, as she was dragged further and further away from her body. She clawed through the abyss but was only sunk faster. There was a red light in the distance beckoning her to come closer. Her head was spinning. Screaming for help, she woke up gasping for air.
Not again.
